We are seeking dedicated and compassionate domiciliary carers to join our team. As a domiciliary carer, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Domiciliary Carer - Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Medication Support: Help clients manage and take their prescribed medications.
* Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary requirements.
* Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
* Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations.
* Mobility Assistance: Help clients move around safely, including using mobility aids.
* Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals.
* Appointments: Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Domiciliary Carer - Qualifications:
* Experience: Previous experience in a care environment is preferred
* Must be a Driver with a Full UK drivers licence.
* Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and patience.
* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as the Care Certificate are advantageous.
* Attributes: Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.
