Job Summary: An experienced consultant with in-depth understanding of public sector estates planning and
preferably in the health or life sciences arena. The Senior Estates Planning Manager is a new role within the
Strategy Life Sciences Service Line (SLS), reporting to the Strategy in Life Sciences Director and will be part of a
small team. This role would be suited to a candidate who has a demonstrable background in Architecture or
Master-planning.

This full-time role will be working in a government department's Science Estate Planning Function to support
strategic development and management of the client's estate. The role requires a minimum of three days per
week at a major government life sciences site based in Surrey, with occasional travel to other UK sites.

The Essentials :
* Bachelor's degree in architecture or in the construction industry/sector
* Significant demonstrable experience in the construction industry and/or public sector
* Stakeholder engagement and management skills, with political astuteness
* Strong relationships with technical partners and sector specialists and experts

Things that are Desirable :
* Project Management qualification (Prince 2 / APM PQ)
* Experience with Estate Strategy delivery and Public Sector Estates teams
* Experience of laboratories and high containment environments
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in project management
* MA or Postgraduate qualification
* Chartered status ARB/RIBA, RICS, CIAT, CIBSE
