Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our local client in Radstock in the recruitment of a Quality Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.
As a Quality Technician this is a crucial role within the business where you will be managing all quality aspects of a small but busy technical company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing all aspects of quality and ensure compliance with ISO standards at all times.
* Ensure that the quality management system processes are established, implemented and maintained according to ISO standards.
* Report regularly to the senior team on performance of quality management systems and report on any improvements to increase efficiency and compliance.
* Promote awareness of customer requirements and regulatory expectations throughout the organisation.
* Acting as a liaison with external parties on matters relating QMS.
* Inspecting production equipment and machinery to ensure they are operating efficiently.
* Defining, deploying, monitoring and manage QMA processes across various departments.
* Performing audits and writing recommendations and reports on the results
The main focus is to ensure the company and team maintains high quality standards and continuous improvement within its processes.
The candidate:
* We are looking for a candidate who has previous quality experience within a manufacturing / engineering or technical setting.
* Must have experience / knowledge of ISO9001 or at least be willing to under take courses which the client can provide in order to learn / gain experience.
Our client is happy to consider candidates on a part or full time basis with a salary of between the salary brack of £27,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.
