Job Title: Business Manager

Salary: £39,186 - £42,403 per annum

Hours: Full Time - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Start Date: 1st January 2025 (or negotiable)

Location: Wrexham - Secondary School

One of our large secondary schools is seeking a passionate and driven Business Manager to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the school's strategic goals and contributing to a positive learning environment for our students and staff.

Role Summary:
The Business Manager will play a crucial role in the school's operational management, working closely with senior leadership to oversee all financial, human resources, and administrative functions. You will lead a team of support staff and ensure the efficient use of resources, enabling the school to deliver high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the school's financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure effective use of resources
Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and staff development
Lead the school's administrative, facilities, and IT teams to support smooth daily operations
Develop and implement strategic plans to support the school's long-term vision
Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection policies
Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and external partners

Who We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a business management role, preferably within an educational setting
Strong financial and HR management skills
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all students and staff
