Trainee Accountant

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice and they are seeking a motivated, passionate, and reliable Trainee Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will provide essential Accounts Payable data inputs, bookkeeping and bank reconciliations, and VAT. You will also receive training on month end close procedures such as accruals and prepayments, forecasting and management account reporting and year end statutory accounts preparation. Training will be extensive and fundamental within this role to ensure you are supported and developed within this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping and data entry

Assist with month-end procedures and management reporting

Assist with preparation of year-end accounts

Experience:

Some basic experience in a finance or accounts payable role

Ideally, you have already begun your AAT training journey

Role details:

Training contract with study support comprising of group calls with other trainees, paid time off and exams and course content paid for.

This is a hybrid role, with both remote work and office-based responsibilities. You’ll be required to attend face-to-face meetings in London from time to time, and attend the Holborn office to work 3 days a week so you can work 2 days from home
