Are you an ambitious IT Support Engineer with experience within a reputable company providing 1st / 2nd line support looking to play an integral role within an award winning business that offer learning, development and progression opportunities.

This role will be a key figure in delivering IT solutions across the business, providing hands-on support while also taking ownership of critical IT projects. In this position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of the company's IT operations, working in an environment where your expertise will be valued and ideas implemented. This varied role will see the suitable candidate repair hardware, onboard new staff, suggest IT software improvements and manage the wider network - thus experience providing support within a reputable non-IT business is extremely advantageous.

The Role:

Set up and configure workstations (desktops, laptops, mobile devices), ensuring all systems are ready for new and existing staff
Perform regular hardware and network checks to ensure optimal performance and security across all systems
Lead and manage IT projects, from software rollouts to system upgrades and security improvements
Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently to minimise downtime
Secure and maintain local networks, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations
Train and support employees on new software, ensuring smooth transitions and adherence to best practices
Continuously identify areas for improvement, leading initiatives to enhanced IT processes and systemsThe Person:

Proven experience in 1st / 2nd line IT support within a well-known business
Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Ubiquity networks, VM Ware and CybersecurityJob Reference: BBBH16230
