As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with both teachers and students to help create an inclusive and engaging learning experience. Your role will involve supporting students with varying needs, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and thrive in their educational journey. You'll collaborate with teachers to implement individualised education plans and provide tailored assistance to students to help them reach their full potential.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant must:

Have relevant qualifications or experience working with children with SEN
Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
Be able to support the teacher in delivering tailored lessons for SEN students
Be compassionate, patient, and adaptable in meeting the diverse needs of students
Have a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs in their learning journey

To work with GSL Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant, you should: 

Have the right to work in the UK. 

Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years. 

Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
