Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Type of role: Permanent. Flexible start times between 8am-10am and finish times 4pm - 6pm.

Working week: 34 hours with flexible starts 8am-10am and flexible finish times 4pm-6pm. Early finish 3pm on Fridays.

The focus of the role: You will be working on bespoke machine projects including front end specifications responsibilities.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to work within a global SME known for its supportive culture, where commitment and hard work are highly valued. You'll join a skilled team in designing bespoke electrical systems, taking on front-end specification responsibilities and contributing to high-quality, project-driven results in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in electrical design, enjoy problem-solving, and work well under pressure, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed electrical drawings using E-Plan, including panel layouts, BOMs, and rating plates

Generate single-line diagrams with cable identifications for contractor quotations

Attend site meetings and liaise directly with customers and project engineers

Specify and integrate electrical instrumentation, such as flow sensors and level probes

Design pneumatic circuits and create comprehensive BOMs for all pneumatic components

Skills:

Autocad is essential. E-Plan experience is an advantage.
