Employer: Simply Education

Typical working hours: 8:30 – 3:30 (full time, Monday – Friday preferred)

Are you looking for a fulfilling role where you can truly make a difference in the lives of SEND pupils?

Simply Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants, qualified or unqualified, to join our outstanding SEND provisions across Cheshire. As a Teaching Assistant in one of our Special Needs schools, you’ll support students with both their academic and pastoral needs. Our students each have unique and individual needs, and we’re looking for compassionate individuals who possess the patience, understanding, and empathy to connect meaningfully with the students they support. Each of our settings support slightly different needs, some include Autism, ADHD, behavioural needs, mental health and PMLD. At interview we can discuss each of our settings and find the right fit school for you.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Teaching Assistant include:

Provide tailored academic and emotional support to students based on individual needs.
Assist in implementing play-based learning approaches and vocational study options to engage students in unique ways.
Collaborate with teachers to prepare resources and lesson materials each day.
Encourage student growth in resilience, motivation, and self-belief by fostering a supportive learning environment.

What We Offer:

The joy of witnessing our students achieve new milestones and gain self-confidence.
A collaborative and happy workplace where you’ll feel valued.
Full training on the specific needs of our SEND students, ensuring you feel fully equipped and supported in your role.
A structured school day, starting at 8:30 am and finishing at 3:30 pm, allowing you time to prepare and engage with students effectively.

Who We’re Looking For:

We need creative, outside-the-box thinkers who can make learning fun and engaging for our students. If you’re a Teaching Assistant who can bring enthusiasm and new ideas to support our pupils’ development and success, we’d love to hear from you. Even if you’re new to Special Needs education but bring the skills of a fantastic Teaching Assistant, we welcome your application

If you're ready to inspire, motivate, and make a difference every day, apply to join Simply Education and help shape a brighter future for our students in Cheshire. Emma (SEND Consultant) will be in touch with you to arrange the next steps in the recruitment process. All successful applicants will be required to attend an interview (online or face-to-face) and to undergo relevant safeguarding checks, including a full application form. All candidates who register with Simply Education will also have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed. All offers are conditional pending the completion of all relevant checks
