You will be an experienced Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance relating to service, repairs and maintenance of the business. You will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention, with a keen focus on increasing revenues and reducing costs.
Are you the right person for the job?
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Operations Manager in a similar field/sector
Experience in Fire & Security or in a similar field
CRM, Microsoft Office (advanced level) experience
Good verbal, listening and written communication skills
Initiative and the ability to focus on existing and new opportunities and solutions
Good organisational and team building skills
Leadership and motivational skills
Decision making and problem-solving abilities
Time-management skills
What will your role look like?
Consistently deliver high levels of customer service in line with the 5-Star Customer Promise, while managing daily activities of the service, repairs, maintenance team, and handling complaints
Effectively manage and monitor the department's P&L, complete billing, and maximise gross profitability of all services
Produce accurate reports to track completed works, meet deadlines, and evaluate revenue and costs
Manage all service contracts in line with SLA requirements
Participate in pricing parts, labour, and other charges, ensuring policies and procedures are up-to-date
Lead, monitor, and motivate the team to consistently meet customer and company expectations
Oversee Out of Office Services and management
Assist with PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and accreditations
Schedule and assign tasks to engineers (both PAYE and Sub-Contract)
Ensure all jobs are accurately recorded in the company's designated CRM or software systems
Maintain accurate job records, documentation, and costing for all engineering and management activities
Handle administration, documentation, and software systems management
Oversee job costing, ensuring engineering and management time is properly documented and costed
Manage customer complaints and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) processes
