About the Role:

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of complex mechanical systems within commercial projects. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. With your expertise, you will guide project teams and collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client specifications.

* Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, providing clear direction and support to achieve project milestones.

* Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any challenges that arise.

* Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, compliance with safety standards, and quality control.

* Prepare and review all project documentation, including detailed progress reports, budgets, and schedules.

* Oversee the coordination of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other critical services, ensuring seamless integration within the overall project design.

* Proactively manage risks and implement solutions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For:

* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is essential.

* SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) or SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is required.

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on commercial projects, with a solid understanding of the mechanical systems involved.

* Strong technical background in mechanical services, including HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate teams.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* Experience working on large-scale commercial construction projects.

* In-depth knowledge of building regulations, mechanical systems design, and industry standards.

* A commitment to maintaining the highest health and safety standards on-site.
