We are seeking a Graduate Cover Supervisor to join our secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea, starting immediately or in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an engaging and rewarding environment while supporting students in their educational journey.

About the Role

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will:

Manage and supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring a focused and positive learning environment.
Deliver pre-set lesson plans, maintaining classroom discipline and engagement.
Support students with their learning, addressing any questions or concerns.
Gain hands-on experience in classroom management, ideal for those considering a career in teaching.
Work across a variety of subjects, adapting to different classrooms and year groups.

Requirements

A degree in any subject (education-related degrees are advantageous but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability, resilience, and a passion for working with young people.
Prior experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not required.
