Sous Chef Role Overview:

As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen brigade. You will be responsible for running a section, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will have the opportunity to work alongside talented chefs, learn new techniques, and contribute your ideas to our evolving menu.

Sous Chef key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards in line with our fresh food, British produce-led menu.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of menu items, bringing creativity and flair to each dish.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Work efficiently within a team environment, ensuring smooth service during peak times.
  • Take part in stock control and ordering, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Mentor and support junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and skills.

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up.
  • Agenuine passion for fresh food, seasonal ingredients, and British cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
