We are hiring An exciting opportunity for an Estimator has arisen and we would like to hear from you.

The Estimator/Senior Estimator is an integral member of the Work Winning Team; being responsible for the effective and efficient securing of suitable work for the Business. It is expected that they will act in a professional and responsible way at all times maintaining good working relations with client, designers, site management, our chain of sub-contractors, and suppliers.

VolkerGroundEngineering are looking for the following:

Experience

  • Piling
  • Geotechnical
  • Estimating
  • Reside in North West.
  • Role full time in Preston HQ but will need to travel to meet clients etc.
  • Role will involve provided tenders for Steel and concrete piling.

About you

  • Foundation Degree / BTEC/ 2nd year Apprentice / Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 1 years of varied site experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Work in a Team Environment
  • Logical and well organised with ability to prioritise
  • Numerate and accurate
  • Commercial Awareness (including risk management)
  • Presentation skills - Written and Verbal
  • Positive response to pressure
  • Technically competent
  • Proficient computer use - Microsoft Office and Project
