Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with on-call duties


Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Radiographer to join our client’s General Radiography department. The role involves performing a variety of radiographic exams, including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, General X-ray, and DEXA, in a very modern facility. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for cross-training in MRI or CT, depending on existing expertise.


Our client has a 56-bedded acute hospital specializing in Colorectal, Urology, Orthopaedics, Men’s and Women’s Health, offering a supportive and professional team environment focused on excellence in surgical care.


Senior Radiographer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of radiographic examinations ensuring high-quality images and patient safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans and provide expert advice
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with the healthcare team
  • Contribute to new imaging protocols and techniques


Cross-Training Opportunity: Candidates skilled in either CT or MRI will have the chance to receive training in the other modality.


Senior Radiographer - Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Minimum of 3 years UK experience in MRI/CT, Theatre, Fluoroscopy, General X-ray, and DEXA
  • Expertise in MRI and/or CT equipment
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary team and willingness to work flexible hours


Senior Radiographer - Desirable:

  • Siemens imaging equipment experience
  • Clinical audit and QA programmes experience
  • IV Cannulation Certificate
