Information Technology Engineer

circa £50k + bonus + benefits

Information Technology Engineer is required by buoyant tech house with broad technical expertise to deliver innovative solutions that enhance how technology is used across the business. This is a broad role, incorporating the oversight and support of IT systems and some software development/scripting. The possibilities and opportunities here are endless and we are seeking someone with some of the skills highlighted, who is looking to make this role their own.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Systems Analysis & Support:

• Support and administer business systems.
• Engage with end users to understand processes and create requirement specifications for improvements.
• Analyse requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to improve operations and customer interactions.

Custom Development & Integration:

• Develop and maintain custom software solutions.
• Write and maintain Azure Logic Apps and code in C#, Python, and JavaScript to integrate systems and automate processes.
• Support the development of the company website (Umbraco).

IT Infrastructure Management

• Assist in managing the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, VMWare, networking, backups, and cloud services (Azure/Office 365).
• Ensure data security and continuity with regular backups (Veeam) and disaster recovery planning.

Key Requirements:

• A combination of some of the below skills are ideal, however if there are gaps, you will be supported with training
• C#, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating systems.
• Web development
• IT infrastructure and systems, including servers, networking, cloud services, and data security practices.
• Ability to analyse business processes and identify technology-based improvements.
