At Evri we understand that searching for your first job, your next job, or that big promotion is a huge milestone. Here at Evri we always think about what it's like to be in your position when making those big decisions. It takes courage to make change happen in your life, and we're here to help you with that.

We're here for the first step, the next step, and the big step.

You're not just a number to us. You've got to know you'll love working here. It's as important to us as you ‘being the right fit'. Our careers are as unique as you are.

We are looking for a Network Planner to manage and optimize the operational network by analysing real-time data and forecasting end-to-end network performance.

Evri is leading the way in creating responsible delivery experiences for everyone, everywhere, and that's how we approach our talent development. We're a kind, ambitious and diverse team, always supporting and encouraging each other. You will be accountable for:

  • Producing daily reports on volume, service level analysis, and resource requirements.
  • Compiling and publishing weekly/monthly reports on network status, performance, and compliance for distribution within Operations from Director level and below.
  • Managing the network according to plan across the entire supply chain, from client collection onwards.
  • Analysing Hubs/Depot processing data and considering planning constraints, such as Parcel Machine throughputs and performance.
  • Monitoring Forecast versus Actual Performance results, providing accurate information to Hubs and Depots to optimize labour and asset utilization, and training stakeholders on the practical use of this information.
  • Proactively identifying activity changes within the Evri network, adapting planning, and reviewing Hubs, Depot, and wider network activities for changes and events such as bank holidays, peak plans, and product changes.
  • Utilizing historical data and collaborating with Hubs, Depots, and the wider network to instil a culture of continuous improvement, reducing costs, and enhancing process planning accuracy.
  • Escalating findings to the appropriate operational areas, advising on the impact of non-action, and recommending resolutions while working with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
  • Hosting daily network conference calls with Managers and Senior Managers across Depot, Field, and Customer services, questioning performance and escalating issues to prevent future failures.
  • Supporting the delivery of the annual Peak plan across the network.

To be successful in this role you will require the following…

  • Working knowledge of systems used within Evri, BI, MI and SAP
  • PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office (strong Excel user) - SQL and VBA desirable
