Procurement Manager - Strategic NHS Procurement Projects
Salary: £35-40,000 + package
Location: Remote - UK (with occasional national travel)
A leading player in strategic healthcare procurement is seeking an ambitious and driven Procurement Manager to join its high-performing Strategic Procurement Delivery team. This company is focused on delivering exceptional value to NHS and other national customers by managing procurement projects that make a significant impact in the healthcare sector.
You will lead multiple end-to-end procurement projects, primarily focused on healthcare and clinical services categories. This includes scoping, pre-tendering activities, tendering, evaluation, and contract award processes, and you will have full responsibility for delivering innovative, cost-effective procurement solutions that maximise value for NHS customers. This opportunity offers fantastic exposure to strategy development and implementation, and you will be working closely with multiple clients, providing expert guidance and leadership on procurement strategies and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities for Procurement Manager:
- Lead and execute strategic procurement projects for NHS clients, from initiation through to contract negotiation
- Provide expert, customer-focused procurement advice to help drive value in healthcare categories
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers, actively generating new business opportunities
- Manage the tender process, evaluation, and contract award, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and value-driven process
- Collaborate with NHS customers to identify new opportunities for procurement and service improvements
