IT Systems Engineer

Sharp IT Services has an excellent, new career opportunity based in the High Wycombe area, as a System Engineer.


Key Responsibilities


As a Technical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to act as an IT manager to a set of clients, building strong relationships and helping to make long-term decisions about their IT infrastructure. This includes:


· Acting as an escalation point for our Helpdesk team.

· Helping to create IT roadmaps for our clients’ development and maintenance projects.

· Looking for new ways to provide clients with the latest available technologies.

· Planning and delivering a variety of technology projects to meet and exceed client expectations.

· Producing a variety of client-facing documents, including Reviews, Proposals and Plans, to put forward solutions to any challenges.


Skills and Qualifications


· A minimum of 12 months experience providing IT consultancy, and 3 years’ experience providing IT support.

· Experience delivering projects with the Microsoft 365 Platform and Microsoft Azure.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, Anti-virus and Disaster Recovery solutions.

· Experience with installation of server hardware, operating systems and hypervisors.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

· A driven attitude with a keen interest in self-development.
