We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a talented Regional Development Underwriter to join a leading insurer and focus on what really matters: building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with Mid-Market brokers.

This role will be a combination of working from home and being out on the road visiting clients.
What will you be doing?
- Building strong, lasting relationshipswith Mid-Market brokers through regular on-site visits, performance reviews, and networking events.
- Underwriting and managing complex commercial risks, ensuring profitable outcomes aligned with the companys underwriting strategy.
- Driving business growthby identifying new opportunities, developing a pipeline of prospects, and promoting the insurer's products and services.
- Collaborating with colleaguesto achieve renewal retention and rate improvement targets.
- Staying ahead of market trends, legislation, and best practices to provide expert guidance to brokers.
What were looking for:
- Proven experience in underwritingcommercial insurance, with a strong understanding of Mid-Market and complex risks.
- Relationship managementskills with the ability to influence and drive positive outcomes.
- Strong commercial awarenessand the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build trust and rapport.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
