Psychology Graduate | Tower Hamlets
Are you a recent Psychology graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in an educational setting? Do you have a passion for supporting young people with diverse learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
You're in luck Im working with a welcoming Tower Hamlets primary schools looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant In this role, youll provide one-on-one and small group support to children with varied Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping to build their confidence and enhance social skills.
Psychology Graduate | Job Summary
  • Full-time term time only Psychology Graduate role | Long term contract until July 2025
  • Work alongside qualified SEN professionals, Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists
  • Role paying £400-£500 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • Experience working with children with SEND is essential
  • First-Class or 2:1 Psychology-related degree from a top 20 UK University

Psychology Graduate | Job Role
  • Working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis tailored to individual student needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lesson plans and adapting materials to meet students' needs.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and help foster independence in students.
  • Using a composed approach to de-escalate situations, ensuring a safe environment for students
