Job Description

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Falkirk, is currently looking to recruit a Chartered Surveyor - General Practice on an 8 week contract with possibility of extension on a rate of £350/day (Inside IR35).

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive strategic property and asset management service by providing professional advice and guidance on property and asset management matters to the Organisation

- Undertake a wide range of professional property activities across the organisation’s portfolio including valuation, marketing for disposals and negotiation of acquisitions, leases and development agreements required to support delivery of Organisation Services and projects

- Manage the Organisation’s commercial and operational property portfolio including undertaking negotiations and transactions in respect of lettings, lease renewals, lease expiries and rent reviews

- Assisting in the delivery of the organisation’s capital receipts programme including liaison with other departments in drafting development briefs, sales particulars, marketing the property, assessment of offers, preparation of committee reports and liaison with Legal Services in concluding the transactions.

- To support community asset transfer through negotiation of terms of transfer.

- Develop, manage and maintain records, data and systems that support delivery of property and asset management services.

- Contribute to corporate initiatives and management of property projects by the provision of professional property advice to internal Working Groups and inter agency or partnership teams including instructing and directing other professional or technical staff as required.

- You will be working in a mobile/flexible working environment.
