About the Role:
We're recruiting a Resourcing Planner to join Severn Trent's Planning & Scheduling team. You'll be responsible for coordinating resource movement, balancing workforce demands, and supporting the Tactical Planning Lead to ensure smooth operations within the wholesale division.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, manage, and maintain 21-day resource plans in SAP CLICK / FSM systems.
• Coordinate Severn Trent and contract labour resources to meet operational demand.
• Track and manage annual leave, training schedules, and other shrinkage tolerances.
• Liaise with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to optimise resources.
• Proactively address any resource shortages and reallocate as necessary.
• Drive process improvements and share best practices.
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
• Strong MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
• Experience in resource planning or management in any sector (this can be planning rotas).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable:
• Experience in lean process improvements.
• Previous experience in the water industry or similar sectors.
• Understanding of Traffic Management Requirements.
• Experience using SAP CLICK / FSM systems.
