Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Stamford

MCG Healthcare are working with a large healthcare group who are looking for a full time Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Emergency Contact Practitioner to join their dynamic team, working closely with the leadership and practice teams. You'll be involved in the smooth day to day running of the practice and pro-actively engaged in assisting both practices to achieve its vision and objectives.

They are a practice of 5 Partners and 7 salaried GPs serving 28,000 patients within a lovely mix of market town and village communities. The two Stamford based Surgeries are part of a larger Partnership with 170,000 patients over 8 sites.

Stamford for those who have not visited, is a beautiful Georgian town, idyllic enough to have formed the backdrop for many television and films. It is regularly a finalist in the Sunday Times best places to live in Britain survey.

Must haves:

  • Working autonomously in an independent and advanced nursing role.
  • Experience of providing emergency care for patients and management of patients with complex needs.
  • Evidence of wide knowledge base and competency in clinical practice including prescribing.
  • Experience in audit programs and research studies.
  • Evidence of service development initiatives within role portfolio.
  • Experience of Clinical Governance and risk assessment/management processes.
  • Educated to Masters Level or working towards.
  • Independent Prescribing Qualification - or working towards.
