Job Role:

  • Teach English to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
  • Full class responsibilities, including planning and marking
  • Promote excellent subject knowledge and instill a passion for literature
  • Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a positive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with other Secondary Teachers and support staff to achieve the school's objectives

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
  • Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Proven experience of teaching English in a secondary setting
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Passion for working with young people and inspiring them to succeed
  • Experience with Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) is essential
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Working as an English Teacher for Flourish Education also offers you excellent benefits, including:

  • £154.84 - £220 per day, which equates to £30,193 to £42,900 per annum, based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

Location:
This position is based in Wednesbury, which is easily commutable from nearby areas such as Great Bridge, Tipton, and West Bromwich. The school offers onsite parking and excellent transport links from most parts of the West Midlands, including Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
