We have a new opportunity for a Trainee Assistant Site Manager to join our team within Vistry Merseyside & Cheshire West, at sites across the region. As our Trainee Assistant Site Manager, you will be assisting with the day-to-day delivery of site-based project or remedial work. Assist in the control and delivery of construction projects to meet customer specifications such that all risk, specification and project objectives are met in full.
Working as the Trainee Assistant Site Manager you will participate in a range of activities under the guidance of an experienced Site Manager, taking on more responsibility as you learn and become more experienced in the role.

Assist the Site Manager in the supervision of the day-to-day delivery of construction projects; quality, time, procurement, contractors including the supervision of sub-contractors and the monitoring of contractor attendance and progress providing direct instruction as necessaryComplete daily site physical and on-line paperwork including health and Safety forms and reportsConduct site inductions for all visitors and contractorsEnsure contractors have the necessary cards and qualifications to perform their job safely on siteEnsure all site personnel are working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concernsEnsure that detailed plans are followed such that materials and resources are available in order to meet the overall project planEnsure all materials delivered to site in a timely manner to meet production needsEnsure that all additional work is identified and that the site team are fully aware of all potential opportunities and risksCommunicate any project issues/risks to site team to ensure that they are fully aware of project progress and are notified of all financial, specification and time risksEmbrace learning and development opportunitiesHelp to identify opportunities for improvement Finally, let's tell you a bit more about us...
