This is an exciting opportunity to join our specialised team in building electrical wiring harnesses to our exacting standards, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians and the workshop manager in the daily operations of the harness workshop.
- Support the assembly of complex, first-time builds and prototypes.
- Select and prepare lineside stock parts required for assembly.
- Identify and report any build-related issues, deviations, and continuous improvement opportunities to your line manager.
- Provide guidance and advice to trainee technicians.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping regarding work area, documentation, tools, and products.
- Perform line inspections.
- Fulfill any duties required by the company to ensure quality products and services are delivered to customers on time and in full.
- Follow all procedures and processes to meet the day-to-day requirements of the business, as well as quality and health and safety standards.
- Achieve continuity of agreed deadlines through flexible working patterns.
- Actively participate in training activities provided by the company to ensure all high-quality build standards are met and continuously improved.
- Previous experience with OEM or System 25 harnesses (motorsport/aerospace) is a mandatory requirement.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings is a mandatory requirement.
- Experience with Cirris or other electrical harness testing software is desired, but not mandatory.
