Our client, a leading supplier of custom aluminium extrusions in North America, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team at their cutting-edge facility in Langley, British Columbia, Canada.
As the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, enhancing quality standards, and maximizing efficiency in their state-of-the-art extrusion facility. Working with a team of industry-leading experts you will foster a culture of passion, knowledge, and integrity to deliver exceptional service and quality products. The Production Manager will be instrumental in achieving their strategic objectives and maintaining their position as a leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production operations from start to finish, ensuring efficiency and quality
- Analyze processes, optimize resources, and identify inefficiencies
- Drive continuous improvement for waste reduction and quality enhancement
- Mentor and empower the production team to excel
- Collaborate cross-functionally to meet standards and exceed expectations
Experience Required:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in aluminium extrusion with expertise in processes and equipment
- Proven record in implementing process improvements and achieving results in manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and motivation skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices relevant to the manufacturing industry
Location :
Vancouver, BC, Canada
Compensation :
CA$130,000 – CA$160,000, plus performance related bonus, healthcare and RSP. Our client will sponsor a working visa and offer a relocation package
