Approved Electrician | Manchester | 37.5 Hours per Week (with Regular Overtime) | £19.02 per Hour

Our client is a leading provider of services and products across various sectors, including cutting-edge control panel and MCC manufacture, innovative electrical and mechanical system design, and certified installations.

With the potential to exceed 50 hours per week for about 10 months of the year, this role offers fantastic earning potential for those looking for more than just a standard 9-to-5.

What you'll need

  • Qualified Electrician: C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G)
  • Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391) or Equivalent
  • CCNSG Safety Passport

What you'll do

  • Ensure high-quality standards are maintained on all projects
  • Uphold strict safety protocols (H+S / CDM Regulations)
  • Carry out tasks as directed by the site supervisor
  • Install tray work, conduit, trunking, SWA type cabling, distribution boards, and more in industrial environments

What can you expect in return?

  • Time and a half after 37.5 hrs (including travel), and even double time on Sundays
  • 22 days of annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • After a 3-month probation, the company matches up to 6% of your contribution
  • Ongoing training and development, with the potential to increase your pay by gaining additional qualifications (e.g., Compex Electrician)
  • 24/7 access to a GP or counsellor, with the ability to claim back on health check-ups, dental, and more
  • 3x annual basic salary with added support like mental health care and GP access
  • Drive green with the option to lease an electric vehicle, fully insured and serviced through a salary sacrifice scheme
  • The option to purchase up to 5 additional holiday days per year.
