Are you an Electrical Engineer seeking a hands-on role within a renowned global OEM engineering firm, where you will receive the opportunity to embark on a market-leading training program, tackling a diverse range of technical challenges in various locations around the UK and working on a range of world-class facilities and machinery?

This company specializes in manufacturing and supporting advanced precision manufacturing machinery. They have state-of-the-art modern working facilities where you can train on highly automated machinery. This company have the best reputation for the quality of service they provide and are renowned for having the best engineers across the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and industrial industries.

This role involves diagnosing and fixing machine breakdowns, performing routine maintenance, and training customers on the safe and effective use of the equipment. Additionally, it includes promoting the sale of tooling, maintenance contracts, and associated machinery to support customer needs and enhance sales. Overall, the position combines technical service with customer education and sales support.

On offer is a practical role where you will gain training and the opportunity to develop as a highly skilled Field Service Engineer on the latest laser technology for a wide range of specialist engineering industries.

THE ROLE:

  • Diagnose and repair machine issues while performing regular maintenance on equipment.
  • Train customers on safe operation, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting.
  • Promote tooling, maintenance contracts, and additional machinery sales to support customer operations.

THE PERSON:

  • Electrical bias - knowledge of electrical schematics, hydraulics drawings
  • Based around the M4 corridor - from Northampton to Bristol
  • Full UK Driving license
