The position is primarily responsible for managing key aspects of production to meet customer requirements. This should be achieved by ensuring the line meets productivity goals, minimising inefficiencies and cost such as down time.
Primary Responsibilities: Setting up production line before production staff starts at 8AM, taking fruit out of the ripening rooms into production and vice versa. Ensure product is to the required specification and promptly address any issues. Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and packing operatives to ensure adherence to process procedures and ensure productivity without jeopardising quality. Make sure correct labels are issued. Monitor production processes ensuring all paperwork and systems are completed, data captured accurately in accordance with company procedures. Make sure all production staff adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety regulations to ensure product integrity. Enforce cleanliness and hygiene protocols within the working areas, and equipment. Ensure the final product meets customer specification.

Shifts for Line Leader in Sheerness:
- Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays)
- 07:00 start and finish 18:00 (approximate)
Pay for Line Leader in Sheerness:
- £12.00 per hour
- Weekly pay

The role involves lifting, strapping of pallets and use of ride on pallet trucks. Previous experience in a production setting is preferred but training will be given.
