Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our building, mechanical equipment, and utility systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise routine servicing schedules across the business.
  • Check and calibrate conveyor systems, including sensor alignment, automatic weighing machines, and barcode readers
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building and mechanical equipment, including inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and greasing bearings.
  • Fit replacement electric motors and control units on conveyor systems.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues.
  • Fix faults or coordinate arrangements for replacements as needed.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists, and maintain records of scheduled procedures.
  • Manage your workload to ensure timely closure of all tasks.
  • Maintain and repair all building structures.
  • Communicate progress on equipment breakdowns to production managers.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
  • knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in performing routine checks and diagnosing machinery faults.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
