Certsure is seeking an Electrotechnical Engineer to join our team and drive the growth of NICEIC Consulting, aiming to become the UKs largest provider of Electrical Consulting Services.
About the RoleAs an Electrotechnical Engineer, you will:
- Deliver consultancy services to ensure client projects are compliant, safe, and of the highest quality.
- Work with clients across the UK and Ireland to improve their electrical service delivery.
- Play a key role in growing NICEIC Consulting by supporting business development opportunities and engaging in lead generation.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and sales teams to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
- Support the operational and commercial objectives of NICEIC Consulting, contributing to its profitability within the building services sector.
Consultancy Services:
- Deliver electrical consulting services across diverse projects in the UK and Ireland.
- Conduct gap and competitor analyses to inform product development and client solutions.
- Guide clients in improving on-site performance and electrical documentation processes.
Business Growth:
- Actively engage in sales and promotional activities, including client visits and proposal development.
- Develop and improve products and services tailored to NICEIC Consulting clients.
- Support financial growth by identifying and pursuing business opportunities across sectors.
Client and Team Collaboration:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering mutual trust and understanding.
- Collaborate with consulting teams and external partners to ensure smooth contract progression.
- Manage a network of electrical consultants, ensuring effective delivery of services.
Operational Excellence:
- Provide operational support to meet and exceed consulting growth targets.
- Deliver technical reports, presentations, and customer insights to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Comply with health and safety policies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Were seeking someone with:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of BS 7671 and associated Codes of Practice.
- Proven experience in the electrical industry, with supervisory-level expertise in domestic and non-domestic systems.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to learn bespoke systems like Safety Culture and the NICEIC Consulting portal.
- A self-motivated approach, with a passion for exceeding customer expectations and delivering high performance.
Desirable Skills:
- Relevant industry certifications or professional body memberships, with a strong understanding of building services.
