Algorithmic Trader | London | Hybrid | Up to £250,000 + bonus


My client is a prominent market-making and programmatic trading firm in the ever-evolving cryptocurrency industry. With a team of over 200 employees spanning 5 countries, they deliver billions of dollars in liquidity to cryptocurrency protocols and exchanges each day. They forge lasting relationships by providing outstanding service, expertise, and customized trading solutions.


Role Overview:


As a Cryptocurrency Algorithmic Trader , you will create innovative models and algorithms in the digital currency market. Your role involves providing insights into market behaviours and developing state-of-the-art automated trading algorithms.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement advanced automated trading algorithms for cryptocurrency markets.
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to enhance trading strategies and risk management techniques.
  • Analyse market data to improve current trading algorithms.
  • Design and develop advanced computing architectures.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to create solutions for automated trading.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in cryptocurrency.


Your Profile:


  • PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a related technical field.
  • Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills.
  • Experience writing code to process and analyse large data sets.
  • Proficiency in software development and engineering principles.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in electronic trading, specifically within fx/futures.
  • Strong software development skills, particularly in lower-level languages and Python.
  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology.


The role is Hybrid in London paying up to £250,000 + bonus for the right candidates.
