Quality Assurance Engineer - REMOTE - InsurTech
Accelerant is building a new platform that will serve as the backbone of how risk is exchanged in the future. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join the SaaS Platform development team. As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, a strong business and user focus, and be an advocate for quality assurance best practices.

Design and execute test plans, test cases, and testing procedures to identify defects and ensure product quality.
Help debug, investigate and perform root cause analysis of the defects.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks and ensure high-quality product deliveries.
Passion for improving testing effectiveness using different tools and automation techniques.
Strong coding ability.
Minimum of 5 years software testing and test development experience.
Coding experience in JS, Python, TypeScript. Experience with back back-end testing: Experience working with data analytics platforms.
Working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL.

This position is open to remote candidates across the U.Most cross-team collaboration happens in the mornings of the Eastern Time Zone.
