Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of horticultural activities, including garden maintenance, development, and design opportunities.
  • Manage and lead a team of skilled and semi-skilled horticulturists, providing leadership, training, and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards.
  • Monitor plant pest and disease control, effectively managing potential risks.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and equipment to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

We are looking for someone with proven experience in horticultural management who can meet the high standards that West Hill is known for. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Confident, creative, and dedicated to delivering outstanding service.
  • Organised with strong communication skills.
  • Motivated to learn and improve, with a solid work ethic.
  • Reliable and able to accurately complete both handwritten and digital work documentation.

What Youll Need:

  • Proven experience in leading teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A degree in horticulture.
  • A thorough understanding of plant care, landscaping, and modern horticultural methods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Practical gardening experience with solid plant knowledge.
  • Plant disease identification skills.
  • PA1 and PA6 W certification.
  • A full clean driving licence, as you will be driving a company van.

Additional Advantages:

  • Chainsaw certification.
  • Lawn care experience.
