Client Services Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Client Services Administrator to join our Wealth and Asset Management firm in London. This role involves working closely with Investment Managers to deliver high-quality client service to Charity clients, as well as suggesting improvements to the working practices of the wider Client Administration department.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with Investment Managers to discuss client requirements, arrange for account opening, liaise with other internal teams and third parties, and maintain direct contact with the client or their representatives throughout the process.
  2. Ensure the ongoing maintenance of existing client accounts, including periodic AML reviews, amendments to agreements, sub-accounts, and record keeping.
  3. Liaise with third parties regarding custodial matters and/or the opening of derivative and FFX accounts.
  4. Systems administration of client data on internal and external systems.
  5. Liaise with colleagues throughout the business to coordinate and deliver a high level of service to clients.
  6. Provide assistance and offer guidance or training for new and junior members of the team and other areas of the business when required.
  7. Provide efficient and timely support to Investment Managers.
  8. Provide support and cover to the Client Administration Team.
Requirements:
  1. Sound technical knowledge and experience of Client take-on within an Asset Management environment, with particular emphasis on Charity Portfolio Administration.
  2. A working understanding of Anti Money Laundering and Compliance requirements, MIFID and EU Directives, and Global Tax Reporting requirements (FATCA, CRS, etc.).
  3. Strong knowledge of the structure and organization of Asset Management companies.
  4. Knowledge of investment instruments, securities, corporate actions, and capital gains tax rules and computations.
