Job Summary

The Child Health Information Services (CHIS) Team is seeking a skilled professional to join their ranks as a key member. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the CHIS service, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data is maintained on the system.

Main Responsibilities

The CHIS Team is responsible for managing data and statistical information supporting the provision of services for children and young people aged 0-19. This includes notifications of new births and babies moving in and out of the area, requesting records, and updating the child health system with movements in and out.

About the Role

As a member of the CHIS Team, you will be working closely with Maternity services to receive initial birth details and NHS numbers. You will also be responsible for providing a central repository and failsafe for the Newborn Blood Spot Screening Programme and supporting the local delivery of the national Antenatal and New Born Screening and Immunisation Programmes.
