We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Support Officer to join our team at Riverside Group. As a Specialist Support Officer, you will play a vital role in providing support to our customers, enabling them to make informed decisions to improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake group and one-to-one interventions with clients of a specialist nature, including CBT-informed interventions, psychoeducational groups, and harm minimization interventions.
- Provide a comprehensive support planning service to customers in line with our department's policies, procedures, and approach.
- Make full use of IT and other technologies for appropriate tasks, including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and other digital tools.
- Participate in cross-service initiatives and projects related to your specialist area, such as organizational training, reflective case management, and peer support groups.
- Carry out assessments to identify and prioritize customer needs.
- Use SMART goal planning to provide needs-led holistic support.
We are looking for someone with relevant qualifications, knowledge of specialist assessment tools and methods, and experience in undertaking customer assessments, support planning, and key-working with a clear outcome focus.
You will also have knowledge of evidence-based specialist interventions, recovery models, peer support, and coproduction procedures. Additionally, you will have experience working in community settings, running therapeutic groups, and managing crisis situations effectively.
