Construction Hoist Maintenance Engineer

GAP Group LTD is a leading provider of lifting equipment and accessories in the industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Hoist Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

As a Construction Hoist Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, dismantling and maintaining our hire fleet of rack and pinion (Geda manufactured) construction hoists. You will diagnose and repair faults, update service records and complete test certificates.

This is a site-based role that requires strong mechanical qualifications or time-served experience as a Hoist Engineer. Ideally, you will be NVQ level 2 qualified and working towards level 3 in Hoist Operations, but this is not essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus benefits such as a company vehicle, up to 25 days annual leave, contributory pension scheme and life assurance. If you have a customer-focussed approach to your work and strong attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working as a Hoist Engineer or similar with relevant mechanical qualifications
  • NVQ level 2 qualification and working towards level 3 in Hoist Operations
  • Ability to work on own initiative and assist other team members when required
  • Valid driving licence
