About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced EPC Project Delivery Lead to lead our field project delivery function for our UK sites. Our team delivers a wide range of lump-sum EPC projects in electrical transmission and distribution within the utilities and renewable energy sectors across the UK.


As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a site and construction management team to deliver a portfolio of projects from the proposal phase through project execution and successful closing.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the site and construction management team to deliver a portfolio of projects.
  • Demonstrate visible safety, environmental, and sustainability leadership.
  • Accountable for the construction execution, completion, and handing over of the works for all project sites.
  • Support the project team to implement contingency plans for all events that can potentially lead to a change in the project construction schedule.
  • Manage the portfolio site team to ensure compliance with all customer safety management requirements, company systems, applicable laws, and regulations.
  • Provide management, guidance, and coordination of site construction multi-discipline teams and sub-contractors to ensure safe and successful completion of the project site.
  • Responsible for assessing field construction and operations risks and ensuring mitigation from pre-construction to completion and commissioning phases of the projects.
  • Foster a culture of integrity and adherence to the highest ethical standards within the project delivery organisation.
  • Monitor and lead the field Engineering, construction, and commissioning teams from the early construction phase through to completion and close-out of projects.
  • Be the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and customers regarding all aspects of projects' construction.
  • Support project teams in meeting the construction and completion execution objectives of individual projects.

Requirements:



  • Extensive experience in delivering construction, commissioning, and field completion EPC of substation projects.
  • Good amount of years of experience as field completion and commissioning management for a substation project.
  • Must have strong construction awareness and understanding of internationally recognised project management standards.
  • Must have strong risk awareness and risk management skills.
