As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager and wider team in the operation of the gym. Your primary focus will be on driving new member sales, maximising retention, and overall growth of the live member movement through various strategies inside and outside the gym.

The Role

The successful candidate will have a passion for health, fitness, and wellness, with strong leadership qualities, adaptability in communication style, and a positive, solutions-driven mindset. You will be a member champion with exceptional interpersonal skills, driven and ambitious, with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.

Responsibilities

  1. Represent Everlast Gyms as an ambassador for fitness, demonstrating our elevated ways of working and advocating for our FUNDAMENTALS sales process.
  2. Drive new member sales and retain existing members to grow live member movement, owning the activity planners for the gym and ensuring they are thorough, well-planned, and executed.
  3. Implement strategies to increase lead generation both internally and externally, monitoring our dashboards and KPIs, and communicating key insights to the wider team.
  4. Drive all revenue lines from membership sales to product and secondary, to drive profitability of the gym, prepare and deliver monthly sales presentations to wider management team.
  5. Build key relationships with local businesses to evolve local partnerships, developing the #WeMoveBusinesses membership opportunities (both new and existing).
  6. Lead by example on reception and the gym floor in this member-facing role designed to enhance every visit, buy-in to national focuses & incentives like #WorkoutWednesday & #WeCommunicate.
  7. Support the General Manager and wider team with any operational tasks necessary to ensure the business operates correctly, including Health & Safety, Facilities, Maintenance, Recruitment.
  8. Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times whenever in the gym.

Requirements

  • $60,000 - $80,000 per year

  • Keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role
  • Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business including weekends and Bank Holidays when required
