Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a Civil Engineering firm to assist a diverse range of works within Infrastructure and Civil Engineering valued up to £15 million.

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for carrying out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans, and tenders for a range of clients, including sub-contractors, developers, and private clients. You will also assist in reviewing residential and commercial projects with new and existing clients.

  • Establishing connections with various individuals across the tendering process, including suppliers, subcontractors, and specialists, to facilitate collaboration.
  • Performing accurate take-offs for various residential and commercial projects, utilizing measuring take-off tools and software for precision.
  • Discussing and establishing potential value engineering regarding projects to aid clients in meeting budgets.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in civils in the UK, 3 of which as an Estimator with a small/medium contractor.
  • Basic IT skills and experience of Conquest estimating software preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard Conditions of Contract.
  • Full UK driving licence.
