Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at IPS Finance. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our clients' debt and ensuring timely payments.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and allocate resident payments to ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Manage debtors and pursue outstanding payments through email, telephone, and letter, adhering to company procedures.
- Negotiate and track resident payment plans to minimize arrears.
- Prepare debtors reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Present arrears status to internal and external parties.
- Escalate internal legal processes for arrears exceeding two months.
- Liaise with internal sales and lettings teams to resolve issues surrounding outstanding payments.
- Complete account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
