We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced archivist to join our team as a Senior Archivist (Standards and Workflow). This is a key role in our cataloguing programme, responsible for the day-to-day operational management of data for our catalogue and leading our work on archival descriptive standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the workflow of data for our catalogue
- Lead our work on archival descriptive standards
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation
- Develop and improve our practices and processes
- Manage staff and build strong working relationships
About You:
We are looking for a qualified or experienced archivist who is enthusiastic, organised, and has an eye for detail. You will be an expert cataloguer with experience of managing staff and building strong working relationships. You will also have experience of working with data and thinking creatively to solve problems.
What We Offer:
We offer a full-time post with the opportunity to work part-time, flexible working, or job share. A combination of onsite and home working is available, and applicants should be able to regularly travel to our site for a minimum of 60% of their work time.
