Job Description:

Become a key player in our successful merchandising team at Bayman Atkinson Smythe, a renowned textile business based in Rochdale.

You will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving forecast accuracy, and minimising markdowns by analysing market trends, managing stock levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Analyse data to inform forecasting and inventory decisions
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and delivery terms
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on sales strategies and stock management
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed

Your Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in merchandising or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
