About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Executive to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our planning function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for safety first and lead the delivery of exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
  • Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
  • Support the long-term success of planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs and the overall contribution to the broader company goals.
  • Support the planning function in ensuring projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
  • Provide high-level planning services for the preparation of project plans, producing baseline scheduled tasks, resource profiles, and financial models.
  • Lead the application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Communicate effectively with the client, project team, and stakeholders.
  • Influence complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
  • Undertake tasks required to fulfill the requirements of the project/assignment.
  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Requirements

  • Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Experience in the successful planning of projects and programmes.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
