Job Title: Construction Claims and Disputes Leader

Maxim Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced Construction Claims and Disputes Leader to join their team. The company offers a range of services including project advisory to assist with live distressed projects.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in delay, engineering, planning, and related areas. They will have recently undertaken an Associate Director Delay Analysis role (or equivalent) and managed a team of delay analysts working on a number of concurrent cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of delay analysts;
  • Take full responsibility for expert report writing and managing your team to assist with preparing background information and sections of reports;
  • Provide specialist delay and forensic advice to external clients;
  • Use your experience of testifying and related preparatory work to grow your gravitas and reputation to secure further opportunities to testify and build the business;
  • Deliver expert delay and forensic planning services in line with client briefs and the company business plan;
  • Network and win work and develop relationships with both construction industry solicitors and influential contacts within construction building and civil engineering contractors;
  • Take a lead in the coaching and training of your delay analysis team and encourage their professional progression.

Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
