Catering Assistant

Join Lancashire County Council's catering team and contribute to providing high-quality meals for school children.
As a Catering Assistant, you will work in Anderton Primary School, preparing and serving food and beverages to students. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing the dining area for service
Assisting in food preparation, cooking, and serving
Cleaning equipment and catering areas
Working as part of a team to provide excellent customer care
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
We are looking for individuals who can work under pressure, use their initiative, and provide good customer care. Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, term time only, with 12.5 hours per week. The salary is £12 per hour, paid on a pro-rata basis.
