We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to contribute to our production team at JP Corry. This role is integral to ensuring our customer requirements and production deadlines for washrooms and doors are met and to the highest quality standards.

As a Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for operating a variety of woodworking machinery, including wall saws, edge banders, glue presses, and CNC machines. You will also be involved in the modification and finishing of doors and door frames, such as lipping, adjusting, trimming, adding ironmongery and glazing, and hanging completed doors in frames.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operating woodworking machinery with minimal supervision
  • Modification and finishing of doors and door frames
  • Ensuring adherence to EHS standards by maintaining a clean and tidy work area and rigorous machinery maintenance

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in a timber mill
  • Relevant woodwork machinery qualification
  • Ability to work on own initiative and build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
